Bruce is attaching the lid to the HartmanEW Endwall System.

About Us
Bruce Hartman is the inventor of the HartmanEW endwall unit and President of Hartman Products, L.P. For over 15 years, Bruce has been involved in the highway construction industry. During that time, Bruce has managed highway maintenance, overseen and supervised project designs for:
  • Bridge forms
  • Major bridge projects
  • County process mapping
  • Re-engineering of key maintenance activities

While serving with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and overseeing drainage crews, Bruce realized the need for easier, more cost-efficient endwall installation. He made it his goal to develop a product which would be:

  • Faster and easier to assemble and install
  • Safer for workers and motorists
  • A cost-effective solution

By observing and analyzing the current methods of construction, Bruce developed a cost-effective, time-saving alternative that keeps your workers' safety in mind.

Utilizing the latest computer-aided design technology to analyze, and ultimately optimize the existing endwall methods, Bruce was able to make his vision a reality - a plastic, fixed-form endwall which can be adapted to various roadside conditions and situations. The HartmanEW is a plastic S.I.P. form for endwalls on drainpipe, that not only reduces the cost and time it takes to build an endwall, but also provides greater night visibility, crash-cushion protection and more pleasing aesthetics. It also helps to prevent injuries to workers due to its light weight and easy handling.

After patenting the concept and establishing a team of plastics, marketing, sales and construction experts, the final product is ready for your application.
