Hartman Products Winner of Pittsburgh EnterPrize Contest
Unique endwall solution company chosen from over 75 participants vying for Pittsburgh’s only regional competition for entrepreneurs
May 27, 2003 (Pittsburgh, PA) Hartman Products, L.P., the creator of the HartmanEW endwall system for drainage pipe endwall construction, announces that it has won the “Existing Business Category” at the Pittsburgh EnterPrize Business Plan Competition held on May 17, 2003. The objective of EnterPrize is to foster an entrepreneurial environment in the Pittsburgh region, to increase access to capital, and to establish a channel for the commercialization of products, services and technology. Participants in the EnterPrize business plan competition have attracted nearly $25 million in venture funding over the course of the 4 years the competition has been in existence. The EnterPrize Competition is implemented by the Pittsburgh Technology Council, the largest technology trade association in the United States, with more than 1,500 member companies within Southwestern Pennsylvania.
