The File Tree is where you can change menu orders and have access to any file in the web site whether or not it’s visible on the live web site. The file tree can be accessed by clicking on the Control Panel in the Editable Area window.
Files created in the Content Management System can exist in three states:
Published Pages - pages that are saved and published are visible to visitors to the site
Work In Progress - pages that are created and saved, but are not published and therefore not visible to visitors to the web site
Suspended Pages - pages that were saved and published, but then were suspended so they are no longer visible to visitors to the web site
Icons
All the files listed in the File Tree have an icon next to them. These icons can tell you some stuff about the page.
This icon means the page is the default page for the web site
This icon means this page has sub-pages. The sub-page links are displayed at the top of the page.
