Content Block Properties

 

 

 

 

 

Info Screen

 

By default the properties window will open to the Info screen.

 

 

This shows the file path and name of the Content Block you are editing.

 

This shows how many revisions have been made to this Content Block.

 

This shows the date and time the Content Block was created.

 

This shows the date and time the Content Block was last edited.

 

This shows the last user to edit the Content Block.

 

Here you can see whether or not the Content Block is exclusively owned by a user.

 

You can see who last checked out the Content Block for editing.

 

This will show what time the user shown above checked the Content Block out.

 

 

Code and Scripting

 

You can determine how the Content Block will handle ASP code.

 

 

To allow the Content Block to run ASP code, click the check box.

 

To allow ASP code to create objects in the code in the Content Block, click the check box.

 

Permissions / Approvals

 

In this section, you can set what users and groups have permission to edit the Content Block. You can also determine the need for approvals of Content Block changes, and then set the desired approval chain.

 

 

These setting allow you to view/set what users are allowed to edit the page. To do this:

Check this box if you want to set up a chain of approval for changes made to your Content Block. Then set the approval chain by clicking on the Set Chain button.

Page Access

 

In this section, you can set what users and groups have permission to edit the Content Block. You can also determine the need for approvals of Content Block changes, and then set the desired approval chain.

 

 

 

By default, this check box will be empty and therefore be the only option available. Click this box to regulate what users are able to access the Content Block and show the corresponding tools to do so.

 

By clicking this check box, you can have a record created every time someone tries to access the Content Block. The record will show who tried to access the block and the date and time they made the attempt.

 

This section allows you to create a list of users who are allowed to access the Content Block.

 

 

 

 

 

This section allows you to create a list of users who are not allowed to access the Content Block.

 

 

 

 

 

This section allows you to create a list of users groups who are allowed to access the Content Block.
