The Insert/Update Image window allows you to edit image properties before you insert an internal image, or at anytime after any other image is inserted into your content. You can also scale and move an image in the Edit Content window.
To edit Image Properties, click on the image you want to work with. (If you are inserting an internal image, you will already be in the Insert/Update Window).
Click on the Internal Image button in the Edit Content Window toolbar to open the Insert/Update Image Window.
The Insert/Update Image window allows you to edit these image properties before and after an image is inserted into your content:
Alternate Text Allows you to enter text that will display as a caption for the image when the cursor hovers over the image.
Alignment Allows you to set how the image will align in the composition or how text will align itself around the image.
AbsBottom aligns the absolute bottom of text around the image with the bottom of the image.
AbsMiddle aligns any text around the image with the vertical center of an image.
Baseline - aligns the baseline of text around the image with the bottom of the image.
Bottom - aligns the baseline of text around the image with the bottom of the image.
Left aligns the image to the left of the text around it.
Middle centers the image among the text around it.
Right aligns the image to the right of the text around it.
TextTop aligns any text around the image with the top of the image.
Top - aligns any text around the image with the top of the image.
With & Height If you want the image to be a different size than its default size, then you can enter the height and width in the corresponding text boxes.
Image Border allows you to set how thick a border you want around the image.
Horizontal & Vertical Spacing allows you to set how much space will remain between the image and text around it.
Once you are finished making changes, click on the Insert button if you are inserting and internal image, or the Update button if you are making changes to an image you have already inserted into your content.
Click on the image you want to scale
Click on a handle and drag it till the image is the desired size
To scale the image horizontally, use one of the left or right side handles
To scale the image vertically, use one of the top or bottom side handles
To scale the image in all directions non-uniformly, use one of the corner handles
To scale the image uniformly, hold down the shift key, and drag one of the corner handles
Click on the image you want to move
Click and hold the mouse button on the image
Drag the mouse till the cursor is where you want the image to go in the Content Window
Release the mouse button, and the image will go where the cursor is
